Abstract
Tanrı düşüncesi insanlık tarihiyle başlayan bir geçmişe sahip olan konular arasında yer almaktadır. İnsan âlemdeki yerini, varoluş amacını, âlem karşısındaki pozisyonunu ve etrafında cereyan eden hadiseleri sorgulamaya başladığı anda, onun ilk olarak tabiatüstü ve yüce bir güçle ilişki kurmaya çalıştığı söylenebilir. Bu bakımdan Yüce Varlık, Aşkın Varlık ve Mutlak Varlık gibi doğaüstü özellikler atfedilerek isimlendirilen Tanrı ile ilgili her mevzunun metafizikte öncelikli sırada yer aldığı görülmektedir.
Türk İslam filozofu Farabi Tanrı konusunu belli prensipler çerçevesinde inceleyen ve sistemleştiren filozofların başında gelmektedir. Farabi, metafizik felsefesinin merkezine Zorunlu Varlık olarak adlandırdığı Tanrı’yı konumlandırmıştır. O’nu varlık ve mahiyeti açısından ele almış ve bunu da aklî bir metot kullanarak gerçekleştirmiştir. Bu sayede Tanrı konusunun sistemli bir şekilde anlaşılmasına katkı sunmuştur. Filozofun böyle bir yaklaşıma sahip olmasında İslam Dini ve Antik Yunan düşüncesinin etkisi olduğu bilinmektedir. Ancak Farabi’nin Tanrı görüşünde yaşadığı ortamda varlığını devam ettiren Türk kültürünün de tesiri olduğu düşünülmektedir. Çalışmada Farabi ve eski Türk düşüncesindeki Tanrı anlayışları arasındaki benzerlikler ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
The idea of God is among the subjects that have a history that begins with the history of humanity. It can be said that as soon as a person begins to question his place in the world, his purpose of existence, his position in the face of universe and the events happening around him, he firstly tries to establish a relationship with a supernatural and supreme power. In this respect, it is seen that every subject related to God, which is named by attributing supernatural features such as Supreme Being, Transcendent Being and Absolute Being, takes priority in metaphysics.
The Turkish-Islamic philosopher Farabi is one of the leading philosophers who examines and systematizes the subject of God within the framework of certain principles. Farabi has positioned God, which he calls the Necessary Being, at the center of his metaphysical philosophy. He handled it in terms of its existence and nature and realized this by using a rational method. In this way, he contributed to a systematic understanding of the subject of God. It is known that the religion of Islam and the thought of Ancient Greece have influence on the philosopher's having such an approach. However, it is thought that the Turkish culture, which continues to exist in the environment where Farabi lives in the view of God, is also influential. In the study, the similarities between the understanding of God in Farabi and old Turkish thought will be tried to be revealed.
